Our last meeting before Christmas, on the 17th December, was our traditional battle with Bingley Camera Club. We were lucky enough to have Ray Brammall ARPS EFIAP/s DPAGB APAGB BPE3* as our judge for the evening.

Each club had submitted 30 digital images which were randomly mixed and judged on the night.

Only two 20s were scored and, as it happened, one was from each club.

For Bradford, Martin Cosgrove provided his "Nuthatch"

While Bingley's Andrew Sharp was the author of "Droopy Tulips"

Unfortunately that's where equality ended! Bingley won the contest convincingly by 503 marks to 484!

However, in true Dunkirk fashion, we have virtually retreated back to Bradford to fight another day. The BPS images used and their individual marks are in the Gallery section of this web site.

It was an entertaining evening and we thank Ray for his constructive comments on the images.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!
