29 March saw the 157th Annual General Meeting of the Bradford Photographic Society. Business, as usual, included a review of the club's activities since the last AGM. We are showing gratifying improvements in several directions. membership is growing in numbers and diversity and reducing in average age. much of this is down to Rais Hasan who came to the end of his two-year tenure as President. Rais is a great photographer and led from the front. The meeting acknowledged his acheivements which included personal qualifications and entries accepted and winning awards in national and international competitions.

He duly handed over the President's insignia to Peter Sykes and the re-election of other officers was announced with some positions remaining vacant meantime.

There were several interesting points raised under Any Other Business and these will give the new Council plenty of food for thought.

We all wish Peter every success in his time as President.

PS There is a section on the First AGM in the history section nder Handbook, Rules & Roles - visible to members only, sorry!
