On the 30 March we held the 156th Annual General Meeting of the Society, followed by a short presentation showing the images that do well in the Interclub competitions.

The AGM saw two trusty officers standing down from the Club Council. Paul Richards stands down from the posts of YPU Representative and Publicity Secretary while Peter Sykes stands down from the Council but will continue as Webmaster. Gerry Gorman and Ian Thrilling were welcomed as new members of the Council.
The officers' reports demonstrated a busy and successful year with growing membership, participation in competitions and club funds. The latter thanks to profitable disposal of some of the Society's archives by auction, most of the remainder going to museums. Rais as President set out his plans for an equally busy session next year.
After the AGM, Graeme Mitchell showed some of the images that have appeared in the Interclub competition and explained the competition's workings for the benefit of newer members. Standing in second place after three rounds, we hope for a good showing in the final round this year.
