The 2010 AGM passed without a fuss on 25th March. A moderate turnout discussed the last year's business, where new blood now represents 33% of the growing membership.
The competition secretaries hoped more people would take part in future trophy competitions, and, to this end, competition requirements received an overhaul, based on feedback, and should now be easier to understand and enter.
Fourteen trophies were awarded to the season's winners (see photo, L-R): (rear) Errol McQuinn, Jim Pringle, Paul Richards, Terry Kolonko; (front) Don Crabtree, Sue Zajaczkowska, Graeme Mitchell; (absent) Helen Hall, Bruce Pickering, Damian Oxborough.
The President, Paul Richards, outlined plans to celebrate the society's 150th anniversary, and urged all members to take an active role in the society's future, as a new generation of photographers bring their ideas and enthusiasm to the table.
