The seasons competitions for prints is nearly here, i would entreat all new members to have a go at the print competitions, after all until a print is in your hand its not really a substantial image, projection is ok but its the easy option especially with a digital camera.the first competitions are on November the 10th. they are as follows.

The Murray monachrome trophy.=1 to 4 prints any subject

The Stow record trophy =1 to 4 prints recording clearly any man made inanimate object, black and white or colour, example,=buildings, statues, interiors,machinery that dose not move,antiques etc.

The Lawson creative trophy, this is an alterd image, coloured posterised,filtered, or made up of severel images composed to make a single creative or fantasy image, not a factual image, you can let yourself go on this.

all prints must be mounted on card or foamboard, they should not be in a frame. the prints should be deliverd to me by Thursday 27th October 2011. If any member has difficulty with mounting prints please tell me and i will help them.
